Dear Aileen, Chip, and Kathleen,
I am so sorry that we will not be there to celebrate Mary’s life with our family. At 5:00 this morning, we had 5” of snow, with a forecast of 3-5” more and it just wasn’t possible for us. Please don’t doubt that we will be watching, laughing, crying, and praying with you all, and of course, with our cousin, Mary. May the joy-filled memories of her soften the pain and may the knowledge that she is reunited with her love, Jack, bring you some peace. God bless you all, our far away family.
My condolences on the loss of Mary. She was a wonderful person. I’m sorry that I could not attend in person, but I’m glad that you were able to arrange for livestreaming of the funeral.
